Gary Wunderlich and others at Westlie Motor Co. in Minot received Westlie Motor Company-Ford Motor Company’s “2013 Employee Excellence Awards” for superior service and customer satisfaction.

Wunderlich, salesman at Westlie Motors, achieved the highest rank in the country, Level 4, in the 2013 Ford Employee Excellence Program. Being included in this select group is an extraordinary accomplishment and Gary was among an elite group thanked in USA Today on March 24.

Keith Sem, sales manager, Jesse Bourgo and Troy Mantz, sales, and Steve Pederson, service adviser, are the other Westlie employees recognized with the 2013 Ford Employee Excellence Award. This award honors dealership employees who have excelled in sales and provided exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Michael Lucy, an American Family Insurance agent in Minot, has been recognized for providing outstanding customer experience under the American Star Excellence in Customer Experience Certification.

Lucy has been an agent for American Family since May 1992.

Only agencies that perform in the top 20 percent of all insurance agencies nationwide, based on customer satisfaction surveys, are eligible to become American Star Excellence in Customer Experience certified.

Derek Smith, an employee of Acme Tools, has been recognized as a certified tool specialist by Evergreen Marketing Group. Evergreen, a national affiliation of independent distributors in the construction and industrial products industry, has the only training program in the country that certifies sales professionals in the tool and equipment industry.
