BLM seeking comments on pipeline

WATFORD CITY The Bureau of Land Management North Dakota Field Office is taking comments from the public on the proposed Enable Bakken Crude Services Bear Den Phase 2 project in the Watford City area.

The project will gather crude oil from numerous wells east of Watford City in McKenzie County and deposit the oil at a central storage/transfer facility near U.S. Highway 85, south of Watford City. The project will also convey produced water from numerous oil wells to a state of North Dakota-regulated disposal well.

The project will be comprised of crude oil gathering and produced water conveyance pipelines, as well as ancillary facilities, that will connect to the previously approved Bear Den project.

The BLM will accept comments on the environmental assessment for a 30-day period ending on June 21.
