Lorraine ‘Tootsie’ Charboneau
ST. MICHAEL Lorraine “Tootsie” Charboneau, 70, rural St. Michael, died Friday, June 13, 2014, in her home.
She was born Dec. 25, 1943, to Roy and Clemence Herman, at Fort Totten. She married Anthony Charboneau Jr. on Aug. 15, 1962, in Devils Lake.
Survivors: husband; daughters, Karen Charboneau, Oberon, Wanda Lenoir, Grand Forks, Sharon Larson, Devils Lake, Antoinette Charboneau, St. Michael, Melissa Frank, Belcourt; sons, Anthony, Oberon, Clemence, Brandon, Dallas and Daniel, all Fort Totten; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Roger, Fort Totten, Joe, Butch, Tommy, Steve and Roy Jr., all Belcourt; sisters, Louella Herman, Dunseith, Phyllis McKay, Warwick, Velma Houle, Delila Martin, Berta Morin and Debbie Longie, all Belcourt.
Funeral: Friday, 10 a.m., St. Michael’s Catholic Church, St. Michael.
Burial: St. Jerome’s Catholic Cemetery, Crow Hill District, rural Fort Totten.
Wake: Thursday, 5 p.m., with a rosary and vigil service at 8 p.m., Tekakwitha Center, St. Michael.
