Vistas lose to East Ridge

WOODBURY, Minn. – The Minot Vistas lost their only game Tuesday with a 7-3 defeat to East Ridge, Minnesota’s 12th-ranked team.

Three runs in the first gave the Raptors a lead they would not relinquish. Minot didn’t plate a run until the sixth inning, at which point it was already trailing 5-0.

Vistas starter Hunter Duttenhefer notched the loss for Minot. Chandler Jacob and Austin Eggl both finished with multi-hit performances.

Minot travels for Forest Lake, Minn. for a doubleheader this afternoon with the first pitch of the opener scheduled for 5.
