Alderman Amy Moen resigning due to relocation
Amy Moen, who represents Ward 4 on the Minot City Council, has announced that she will resign her position effective July 31.
“It has been a pleasure to serve on the Minot City Council representing my neighbors in the 4th Ward. Although I’m saddened to leave Minot after living and working here for 27 years, I look forward to new adventures with my family as we relocate to Rio Rancho, New Mexico.” The Minot City Council will decide at its July 7 meeting how to fill the vacated seat.
Moen, who has been financial development director for the Minot Family YMCA, is serving her first term on the council. She was elected in June 2012.
