State officials in area to discuss water issues
Lt. Gov. Drew Wrigley and other state officials are in Bottineau and Mohall this morning to meet with local representatives including county commissioners and mayors about the water problems impacting those areas. They will be in Crosby this afternoon.
Maj. Gen. David Sprynczynatyk, North Dakota’s adjutant general, representatives of the North Dakota Department of Transportation and staff members are among the state group.
A storm dumped record rainfall throughout the region this past weekend, sending runoff through farm fields and flooding roads, and causing water in creeks and rivers to rise.
