Christ Lutheran Church of Minot’s “Katie’s Kitchen,” a free soup kitchen: Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in Bread of Life Lutheran Church, 1415-17th Ave. SW.
Dakota Square Mall Barnes and Noble will host a free storytime at 11 a.m. with “What Do You Do With an Idea?” This event is for ages 3 and up.
Minot Horseshoe Club hosts games every Tuesday at 7 p.m. Events will be held at the Minot Moose Lodge horseshoe courts, 400-9th St. SW. Games played Thursdays if Tuesdays rained out. Men and women welcome. Price $35 each. Juniors play free. No teams, all play is individual. The Lord’s Cupboard Welcome Table food pantry is available Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. at 7-1st St. SE. The pantry is also available Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Fridays from 2 to 5 p.m.
Mouse River Players Community Theater will host a fundraising rummage sale at The Arlene Theater, 115-1st St. SE. All proceeds go to the theater.

Trinity Health Auxiliary will sponsor a book and gift sale Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Trinity Health Skywalk.
Vincent United Methodist Women of Minot will hold a Rummage Sale and Bake Sale on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Featured will be lunch of soup and salad beginning at 11 a.m. and served until gone. Sweet treats and coffee are served at 9 a.m. Bag bargains from 1 to 2 p.m. A bake sale will be held in conjunction with the rummage sale. The church is located at 1024-2nd St. SE, four blocks east of Toad’s. Customers are asked to use the south entrance to the church.
Donations of school supplies will be accepted on Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Town and Country Credit Union, 615 S. Broadway. A bus will be located in the parking lot and Sunrise Rotary Club will be accepting your donations. Donations after Aug. 6 can be dropped off at The Salvation Army Church, 315 Western Ave., Minot.
