MOHALL An early morning house fire in Mohall resulted in damage to two homes Thursday.
The Mohall fire department responded at 4:26 a.m. to a house fire called in by neighbors, said fire chief Arlyn Johnson. The department had the fire out in about 25 minutes, he said. The cause remains undetermined and is under investigation.
The house’s renters were out of town at the time. The American Red Cross reported assisting two adults and two children with food and infant supplies. The family had a place to stay.
The fire damaged a backyard shed and an exterior wall of the house. The kitchen sustained water damage. Neighbors who called in the fire had damage to siding on their home.
