ATV accident in Minot
A 15-year-old girl suffered a head injury when she lost control of her four-wheeler and it was submerged in the Souris River by Cortland Drive on Thursday afternoon.
According to a Minot police report, officers responded to the area after they received a report that the four-wheeler was in the river. They pulled the vehicle out of the river, but the girls on the four-wheeler had left before officers arrived and there were no witnesses to the accident. The 15-year-old was treated at Trinity Hospital for the head injury. Police cited the 15-year-old for operating an off-highway vehicle without a license and gave her a warning for operating the off-highway vehicle within city limits.
