Marketplace announces promotions

Marketplace Foods Dakota Square Mall recently introduced Minot native and long-time grocer Peter Hewitt as its new store director, a role vacated following fellow Minot native and grocery veteran Craig Heupel’s recent promotion to lead MPF’s Broadway/U.S. Highway 2 location. Hewitt possesses 15-plus years of retail grocery experience gained throughout his career at MPF where he’s held numerous leadership positions, including most recently, assistant store director at MPF’s newest site, North Hill Center. Hewitt played a pivotal role in supporting the North Hill Center facility through its grand opening last summer; leadership experience that will be vital amidst MPF Dakota Square Mall’s upcoming store remodel.

Additionally, MPF announced the following internal promotions: current grocery manager Mark Bruhn will support Hewitt in overseeing MPF Dakota Square Mall as assistant store director; Minot native and current grocery manager Paul Rubbelke will assume assistant store director responsibilities in supporting Minot native and store director Zac Miller at MPF North Hill Center, and Minot native and current assistant store director Mike Derheim will join Minot natives Heupel and assistant store director Matt Wentz as second assistant store director at MPF’s Broadway/U.S. Hwy. 2 facility which is currently undergoing a significant remodel.
