Hoffart named new MADC president
The Minot Area Development Corp. has named Stephanie Hoffart of Minot as its president. Hoffart was previously the vice president of MADC and is a five-year employee of the organization.
“Stephanie will do an excellent job,” said Jim Montgomery, chairman of the MADC president search committee. “We went through a vigorous search and there was good competition for the position. Stephanie is well-prepared to lead the Minot Area Development Corporation. We’re very pleased to have her at the helm.”
Hoffart has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Minot State University. She has obtained a project coordinator certification from Business Retention and Expansion International and will complete her economic development finance professional certification in September. She has more than 20 years of management experience.
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to continue to diversify Minot’s economy,” said Hoffart. “In addition, we must continue building relationships with other local organizations to enhance the region’s quality of life.”
