Traffic moves to new lane at New Town Thursday
NEW TOWN Traffic will be moved to a newly paved lane at the intersection of N.D. Highway 23 and N.D. Highway 1804 in New Town on Thursday beginning at 7 a.m.
Traffic will be rerouted and remain head to head so that crews can continue paving work in the area. Traffic will continue to be reduced to one lane in each direction.
The approximately 2-mile project includes reconstruction of this intersection, paving, new intersection signals and an additional center turn lane on Highway 1804.
Traffic will be head to head.
Speeds will be reduced to 25 mph.
Motorists should expect delays.
Flaggers will be in place as needed.
An 11-foot width restriction will be in place.
The lane restriction will be removed when the project is complete in early October.
